Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 March 2025

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account registration data (name, email, password).
  • Social media account credentials and OAuth tokens when you connect accounts.
  • Content you create, schedule, or publish through the platform.
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card data).

We also collect data automatically:

  • Usage data and feature interaction logs.
  • Device and browser information.
  • IP address and approximate location.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the SocioVeil platform.
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your subscription.
  • To deliver AI-generated content suggestions and scheduling features.
  • To send transactional emails and product updates (opt-out available).
  • To detect fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

We never use your content or data to train third-party AI models, and we never sell your data to advertisers.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only as necessary to deliver the Service: with infrastructure providers (hosting, storage), payment processors (Stripe), and analytics tools (under strict data processing agreements). We may share data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where required to be retained by law (e.g., billing records for tax compliance).

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted vaults. We conduct regular security audits and follow industry best practices to protect your data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for processing (where applicable).
  • Data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@socioveil.com.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. Analytical cookies are used in aggregate, anonymised form only. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality.

8. Changes to This Policy

We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
